Dneprospetsstal restarted stainless steel production in Zaporozhye

Dneprospetsstal is gradually launching production, and stable volumes of stainless steel supplies to Ukrainian consumers are expected in the near future.

Zaporozhye Dneprospetsstal has begun a gradual launch of stainless steel production and is preparing to ship billets for the Nikopol Pipe Plant Centravis.

According to the sales director of Centravis Artem Atanasov, the company is seeing a positive trend in the supply of pipe billets for production.

“Dneprospetsstal, our main billet supplier, is gradually launching production, and in the near future we expect stable supply volumes,” Atanasov stated.

According to him, Centravis is operating normally, both in hot and cold shops. At the same time, in hot production, all actual performance indicators are higher than planned; in the cold shop, several lines operate at the level of stable operation before the war.

Atanasov confirmed that the Nikopol plant has begun offering products and accepting orders, adding that the company is actively preparing to participate in the Tube&Wire exhibition, which will be held in Dusseldorf from 20 to 24 June.
